It can be beneficial to be able to get notifications on a phones front screen, when receiving email notifications from CoffeeCloud, instead of reactively have to go into your inbox to check.

This is especially useful for facility manager or baristas that need to know realtime when something is occuring with the machien (like beans low, dregbin etc.)

 

To receive email as a notification on your phone, you have to mark CoffeeCloud as a VIP contact on your phone.

You have to follow the current below steps.

 

Mark a contact as a VIP

Before you start, please add CoffeeCloud as a contact in the phone book. You do that by creating a contact called ‘CoffeeCloud’ and add its email, which is coffeecloud@scanomat.com

 

  1. Launch the Mail app from the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap Mailboxes in the upper left corner of your screen.
  3. Tap the  on the right end of the VIP inbox row.

    Launch the Mail app from the Home screen. Tap Mailboxes. Tap the blue i on the right end of the VIP inbox row.

  4. Tap Add VIP.
  5. Tap on the name of the contact you’d like to add to VIP. If a contact is grayed out, it means you’re missing their email address and can’t add them until you enter it.

    Tap Add VIP. Tap on the name of the contact you'd like to add to VIP.

After you tap on their name they’ll be automatically added to your VIP inbox.

 

How to set custom notifications for your VIP CoffeeCloud notification, to get alert on front screen.

  1. Launch the Mail app from the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap Mailboxes in the upper left corner of your screen.
  3. Tap the ⓘ on the right end of the VIP inbox row.

 4. Press the ‘Add VIP’ button and choose ‘CoffeeCloud’ 

 4. Tap VIP Alerts (see below picture)

 5. Turn notification settings on or off as you see fit.

Now every time CoffeeCloud sends an email, you will receive it on your front screen.
