Today it’s with great pleasure to announce, that we on Thursday will announce one of our latest prestige project to the public. Introducing Scanomat CoffeeCloud – the worlds most advanced cloud management tool for coffee machines.

Many of you have probably heard about CoffeeCloud from one of your sales representatives, or at a sale meeting, and many of you still might ask the questions – what is it?
CoffeeCloud is in it’s true nature a new operation platform living in the cloud, which essentially will become the future tool for running an effective coffee business. The scale of opportunities with this platform has no limit, and it’s hard to grasp or cover in a single article, which is why I have written a white paper outlining the overall vision and strategy for CoffeeCloud. The paper will be released very soon!
CoffeeCloud is first and foremost a data gathering system, which receives information from all of our machines in the world. The system is backwards compatible to all TopBrewers that have ever been shipped, so the amount of data we will be getting is quite substantial. (It will also be released to a new series of Venezia machines and will be upgradable for older instant machines as well)
This will help us solve problems faster, get to know our machines better and also make us able to design and iterate in fast loops in the R&D department – in the end resulting in a better product for the long term.
CoffeeCloud will also soon be able to upload and download recipe’s, with a new BaristaDJ programming tool we will introduce this year!
On top of that, partners selling TopBrewer’s can get access to this system to get insights on machine(s) on any technical or managerial level you can imagine (if we dont cover a case, please file a feautre request on firstname.lastname@example.org)
In CoffeeCloud, you will be able to check how much water has gone through the system, If the machine has been cleaned, sent a notification to user when a certain events occurs in the machine – and I could go on…
We have been testing CoffeeCloud for the past 6-12 months on a ALPHA and BETA stage to make sure all the critical features works as expected. CoffeeCloud is entirely built in-house at Scanomat, and the scale of the applications can potentially reach hundreds of thousands of coffee machines, with hundreds of thousands of users on the platform.
Scanomat new in-house payment system will also be operated from CoffeeCloud, which we will announce soon.
We are very excited about this release and the future of operation, solving many of the issues the coffee machines business has suffered with for many years. With over-the-air software updates to the TopBrewer firmware and App, and full control of machines in the Cloud, we will make sure the future looks brights and iteration will be even faster. I would like to continue on all of the possibilities, but this will be out of scope for this post. We will go deeper to explain the grander vision in the white paper. Either way, we can promise that this will be an even more exciting time to be part of the Scanomat family moving forward
More info will be introduced throughout the next coming week, with documentation and video’s on how to use CoffeeCloud, create users, allocate machines to your own hierarchy groups etc.
The app is cross-platform compatible, and will run on all the important operating system and devices. Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android, iPad etc.
CoffeeCloud will be launched as a free product for everyone to use, and we hope everyone want to be part of the journey.
